Yeah, it's complicated but basically think of it as these special kind of fruits that can grant whoever eats it an ability.

Example if you ate a fire fruit, you'd turn into a fire person.

That's...bizarre and scary. Becoming fire because you ate a fruit...

It's not that bad as it sounds; most people still look the same as they were before after eating devil fruit. But yes, I did.

I ate the fruit that allows me to freely modify anything within a certain space that I creat—a "room" as you would consider it.

It's...how do I explain it? Ah, I'm still not completely familiar with the concept, but it is essentially...manifesting one's inner world, thoughts, and consciousness into reality.

Like...a writer being able to manifest their stories into a closed off space from reality and drawing people into that space, something like that.

No, mine is nothing like that. It's much more simple but hard to explain. Think of it as creating a barrier around a specific area and everything inside of that barrier is freely modifiable by me. It doesn't matter if its living or non-living, I'm able to manipulate it as I please.
