Azami's the son of the yakuza boss that Sakyo works for. They decided they wanted to prove a point, so they kidnapped him.
[There are TWO yakuza from the same family in this theater company!!]
Yeah. [Look.
Azami doesn't really love hanging out with them at this point, and those kids 1. didn't know the actors in the company and 2. normal people are not going to look at people in mascot heads and immediately identify them.]

Listen, between like, all the ghost stuff going on, weird situation of the company, fucking YAKUZA SHENANIGANS, it just sounds like you keep getting involved in a lot of wild stuff Omi. ]
...Well, I'm glad everything turned out fine and nobody was seriously hurt? [ HE HOPES? ]

It all worked out in the end, and we managed to get back in time for closing night.
[He has completely dodged the part where somebody may or may not have been seriously injured!]

[ Steven is the type who WOULD catch that. But he will also be courteous and assume that means Omi doesn't want to talk about it, because he's a decent man. ]
Well, I'm glad for that, then. Even if I think that's pretty good grounds to cancel a show for one night.

It was very close to show start, and people were already in the seats. The adrenaline helped land the action scenes better.
[Sometimes your director has nothing but theater on the brain and you pick up a little bit of that too.]

[ Omi your ACTING. ]

[A flair of fondness, friendship and wistfulness. Sometimes you just really miss your family.]

I'd say I'm a pessimist myself. An optimist can help balance that.
no subject
[Because there are 24 actors, the director and the manager.]
Do you have an optimist back home?
no subject
...I guess it'd be Klaus.
[ Of course it'd be. Though "optimist" is a bit of a weird word for it. ]

[ There's a subtle aura of... well, it's hard to pin down what the emotions are that he has on Klaus. It's... positive? A fondness and like, but it feels very strange. It's objectively the kind of like you would feel towards a friend, someone you've known for years and is familiar, but there's... a small, subtle idolization, idealization there too. ]
It just feels like nothing can get that guy down. No matter what, he's able to keep moving forward.
