of course there is booze because there is always booze. law does not perceive the meth. (if there is any.)
NOW!! EVERYONE. TWO TRUTHS & ONE LIE. ]

Yuuup. [A nod. HE SURE HAS. AND IT SURE WAS A MESS. He also looks pretty intrigued by that?!] You should tell me more about it later! Congrats on your win, though.

Thanks. I thought I'd die that day but I didn't, and now here I am. In more stupid life bullshit.
I don't know what else you'd want to hear about the jail, though. We have a cyclical subordinate who's in that Asylum for reasons [ TM ] but we get to sorta-rent him out for certain cases sometimes?
[ Steven's sure Mahito would be fascinated by the Dog & Deldro situation. ]
no subject
What doesn't kill ya just sets you up for getting killed later, huh?
[Said with way too much amusement... Horrid. Also??? Yeah this sounds hilarious, honestly. If he wasn't such a wholeass danger to all of humanity, he would probably be the kind of creature to end up in that kind of situation.]
Wow! That's pretty fun. [FUN??] What kinda stuff can he do? Does he have a good time, getting rented out?
no subject
Yeah... actually, I think you'd get along to a hilarious degree with him.
Their names are Dog and Deldro. Dog is just some guy, and his personality is pretty similar to yours. Airheaded, always having a good time, not fazed by anything, always positive.
Deldro is a serial killer who has a lifetime sentence in Pandorum Asylum, and he was Aligura's boyfriend. She wanted someone with Deldro's personality but Dog's looks, so she liquefied Deldro's body, exsanguinated Dog, and you know, put Deldro into Dog as his replacement blood so they'd be one person.
[ YOU KNOW. Just Hellsalem Things (tm). ]

Yeah Steven's really got him pinned though, because his feelings of interest absolutely increase. His head cants to the side, posture straightening a little as he leans forward.]
Eh? Seriously? [There is also, of course, no revulsion or disgust or, y'know, any normal human emotion in response to the idea of LIQUEFYING A WHOLEASS PERSON and USING THEM AS SOMEONE ELSE'S BLOOD. Honestly he kind of wants to give that a try?? Oh no.] Wow...! Theories of souls and bodies in other worlds must be really interesting, if things like that work... Hah - I have a friend who would love to know that a liquefied body's personality was able to transfer over. I wonder if it's world-specific or if it could work like that anywhere?
[Do not let this flea roam space and time to find out!!]

If Mahito does actually end up trying it for real though, Steven wants data probably. Because honestly, what happened to Dog and Deldro is wild as hell and was probably possible because of Aligura's status. ] Who knows? There's definitely a bit of an otherworldly component to it related to the Beyond in my world, but it might be possible. At least, if it's just blood?
Deldro's conscious is still there, as a separate personality living inside of Dog. Not in a dissociative way or as a different personality, but as in... Dog's blood is literally Deldro. And he can still speak and stuff.
no subject
Also he would absolutely run up to Steven immediately with whatever Frankensteinian creation he ended up making and show it off like macaroni art.]
Wow! We don't have anything like that where I'm from, I don't think... There are some cases of cursed objects or spirits living inside humans, but I think that's just pretty standard possession stuff, you know? Two souls in one body, not one body inside another body.
[THAT SHIT'S HILARIOUS. And also extremely interesting to Mahito "human experimentation is my pastime" Mahitoson.]
no subject
God bless. Where's this world where Mahito is their weird feral child that acts like when a cat kills a bird and brings it back as a present-slash-threat??? ]
Oh, yeah. Possession exists pretty commonly normally, but Dog and Deldro's case is an especially rare and unique one. [ Nods. ] Deldro not only retains consciousness but can manipulate himself separately within reason, without exsanguinating Dog. They can also do this thing where Deldro becomes Dog's blood exoskeleton to guard him from harm and give him superhuman strength.
[ ISN'T LIFE FUN AND WILD. Also help me for having to say Dog and Deldro way too many times in this one post. ]
no subject
Also look. Golden end and it might happen.]
Ooh! Man! That application has so many uses... Do they get along? I'd imagine it'd be kinda hard living in a situation like that if they didn't. But if that guy's personality is the way you described, then it's probably fine, right?
[He does not actually care about the ethics here at all though, he's just a curious goblin.]
no subject
They actually do, which is some kind of insanity given it's just some idiot and a serial killer in the same body. I don't even know if Dog is the least bit traumatized by the incident, and he gets along with Deldro great, so that's good for them.
Given they have nebulous control over the same body in different parts, though, I imagine if they didn't get along then it would be disastrous. After all, one would die without their blood, the other would die without a body to be in.
[ YEP YEP NO CONCERNS FOR ETHICS HERE. ]
no subject
Hah, lucky for them, yeah! It'd be kinda interesting to see what would've happened if they didn't get along at all, though.
[(flea voice) self-destruction...hilarious. WHO NEEDS ETHICS IN THE LUXURY METH GRAVEYARD THOUGH, HONESTLY!!]
--Actually, what d'you think it would have looked like if the process had failed? Not taking personalities into account, I mean - like if Dog's body rejected Deldro?
[The vibes are now Morbid Curiosity.]
no subject
In the case of emotional incompatibility though, it would become a matter of dominance, wouldn't it?
[ He accepts these morbid curiosity vibes. He's interacted with some weird scientists and hackers before in his life, Mahito cannot possibly be the worst. Since Mahito isn't like, raving to try it on somebody IMMEDIATELY, they're just talking about it as a possibility. ]
no subject
Huh. Guess it makes sense! It'd have been fun to see a really violent rejection, though. Like one of 'em explodes!
[Mahito is just the curse equivalent of burning ants with a magnifying glass...]
Makes sense, though. I wonder what would happen to the conscience that fell behind, in that sort of battle. Like, would it disappear? What would happen to the soul? I wonder if it'd fall dormant or if it would dissolve or something.
no subject
I don't think it'd disappear, not unless the body itself is also destroyed. [ Or in one-half of that equation's case, the "blood". ] I personally imagine it would be kind of a mental confinement, in that case. Trapped in your shared body while the other personality takes up all the control.
Like a brain in a jar.
no subject
There is also absolutely a rush of clear amusement at the mention of a brain in a jar. It's fine, probably.]
Huh! Funny to think about the brain being trapped, in that kinda scenario. [IS IT, SIR.] I guess someone stuck like that would probably wish their body had rejected and exploded!
no subject
adopted childrenterrible subordinates. I mean, he has 1. a garbage sex man 2. a tired merman 3. a not-invisible not-werewolf girl who could drink the entire wine supply of the entire USA in one night 4. one giant beast gentleman 5. a literal zombie butler 6. aforementioned combination serial-killer himbo............ he literally would so not be out of place in the majority of these folk it's crazy. Also you would not believe how often Steven's seen a brain in a jar, or hell, a whole head removed still alive. What the fuck? ]
I think so, after a period of time. After all, how long can a person really handle solitary confinement in their own body, not being able to do anything but sit and watch?
no subject
Congrats on your large memory collection of brains in places and states they shouldn't be in though, friend.]
Yeah, I think that'd even get on my nerves after a while. [He says, like he wouldn't absolutely self-destruct within like 2 seconds.] Mercy kill!
no subject
Yep. There you go. [ He just nods to this nonsense. ] Grand punishments come in unexpected forms.
no subject
Sucks to be caught up in one of 'em!
[He says, like that's not what's happening right now.]
no subject
[ Ah yes the shithead tendencies!! ]
no subject
Hmmm... Y'know, I think I'll pass.
