There was plenty of evidence pointing at her, though. She was someone I had suspected after coming back from the simulation room, but I left it off of the table since I didn't want to name anyone until there was more.

Well sure, but it seems like there was a struggle. And then there's the skull that may or may not be related, the destroyed simulator, and those animal sounds we keep hearing.

It's entirely plausible that the fight happened across multiple places. If someone's attacked they have either a fight or flight response.
